    As a Production Support Developer for the JAGGAER Direct US product at JAGGAER, you will be a key member of the team responsible for maintaining the health and stability of our enterprise wide procurement applications.  You will maintain and support existing code, fix code defects and analyze application performance and stability. You will design, code, test and install improvements to the application.  You will also promote code packages with minor and major code releases. 

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Lead installation, maintenance and patching of Ubuntu based infrastructure
    • Monitor, maintain and improve the health and stability of our JAGGAER Direct US application
    • Fix issues in a timely manner ensuring guideline dates are met
    • Provide production support to customers (internal & external) through troubleshooting, problem analysis, and resolution to correct issues
    • Assist analysis and troubleshooting during emergencies with our production systems
    • Work closely with development team in order to identify problems, perform software updates or stack changes
    • Ensure application uptime by monitoring production applications
    • Active participation in quality assurance of products through the use of JAGGAER standards, practices, and configuration management.
    • Perform regular DR-, backup and restore tests

    Position Requirements

    • US Greencard holder or US Citizen – must support ITAR compliant environments
    • Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
    • Strong ability for independent work completing projects
    • Strong knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu) in enterprise context
    • Experience working with classic LAMP stack
    • Strong knowledge of MySQL/Percona, mongoDB, sphinx search
    • Proficiency with Unix/Linux command line and shell scripting
    • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies
    • At least 4+ years professional experience developing web-based software is required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
    • Standard office hours and conditions
    • Participation in an on-call rotation
