Global SaaS company seeks a Corporate Counsel who will have significant responsibility for contractual matters, with additional responsibilities in other legal areas. Reports to the General Counsel.
Contract responsibilities include: (i) rapidly drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing customer SaaS sales contracts and a variety of other contracts, including partner contracts, service provider contracts, vendor software contracts, consulting contracts, nondisclosure contracts and commercial leases; (2) managing and continuously improving contract processes and (3) providing Legal support on RFP responses.
Additional responsibilities include providing support to General Counsel and the business in the following areas: providing practical legal and business counsel on a variety of matters; regularly rolling up sleeves and pitching in to help solve problems; legal research; dispute resolution; litigation; compliance, including privacy, FCPA and export law; regular collaboration with cross functional teams to facilitate the business; trademarks; employment law; M&A integration.
