Fast-growing, global software-as-a-service (SaaS) company seeks a Corporate Counsel to join our global legal department who will have significant responsibility for contractual and compliance matters, with additional responsibilities in other legal areas. Reports to the General Counsel.
Contract responsibilities include: (i) drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing customer SaaS contracts and a variety of other contracts, including partner contracts, service provider contracts, commercial leases and NDA’s; (2) helping manage and continuously improve contract processes; and (3) providing legal support for RFP responses.
Compliance responsibilities include: helping (i) manage existing compliance programs, including privacy/GDPR and export compliance; and (ii) develop new compliance programs.
The Corporate Counsel will regularly collaborate with our European legal team and support global legal integration.
Additional responsibilities may include helping with: patent and trademark-related matters; legal research; managing outside counsel; corporate governance; M&A due diligence and legal integration.
