The Sr. Event Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving the execution and return on investment of trade shows, conferences, roundtables, webinars, customer events, local field events and company conferences. You will work very closely with Growth Marketing, Inside Sales (SDRs), Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Partner Alliances Marketing teams. Working in the AMER Growth Marketing Team, this position will ensure that JAGGAER is successfully present and well positioned in our industry’s best-in-class events.

This opportunity requires someone with excellent organization and planning skills who can work autonomously with minimal supervision but can also work effectively with others collaborating within a team environment. Someone who thrives in a very fast-growing, high-energy corporate environment that demands and rewards leadership, initiative, resourcefulness, and individual contribution.

Principal Responsibilities

 

  • Support the planning of the annual events calendar and budget
  • Execute and handle all aspects of conference sponsorships, including coordination of logistics such as equipment, catering, marketing collateral, promotional giveaways, and coordination of brand presence/touchpoints across various channels.
  • Manage external vendor relationships, including negotiating budgets and contracts
  • Oversee the event logistics for sales-driven, customer and prospect networking events and roundtables hosted by JAGGAER
  • Support coordination of internal cross-departmental team meetings to ensure each event meets the overall goals of the company
  • Work with the AMER Growth Marketing team to plan and execute the pre-, during-, and post-event promotional activities and lead-nurture coordination with sales
  • Handle individual event budgets and costs, with focus on helping to ensure the generation of quality leads for sales, while maximizing the ROI of each event

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 4-5 years’ Event Marketing experience, preferably with B2B shows/conferences and virtual events
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Strong communication skills and persuasive negotiating
  • Solid project management skills; detail oriented; ability to problem-solve on the fly
  • Demonstrated ability to be poised and effective during high-pressure situations; ability to anticipate issues and have (or quickly develop) contingency plans
  • Experience with B2B SaaS is an advantage
  • Travel: Approximately 2-3 events per quarter
  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business or equivalent
