We’re seeking a Services Engagement Manager to partner with Sales and Professional Services, scope impactful projects, and deliver real value to customers.

 

 

 

Principal Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth by collaborating with Sales, Professional Services, Finance, Legal, and Product Management.
  • Align Statements of Work (SOWs) with customer goals to ensure satisfaction and successful outcomes.
  • Shape implementation delivery by working with Professional Services Managers to develop and execute effective project strategies.
  • Leverage a mix of business, sales, and technical expertise to build strong engagement with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
  • Presales Support:
  • Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and lead presales activities.
    • Contribute to RFP responses and proposals.
    • Scope, draft, and negotiate SOWs.
    • Deliver presentations on JAGGAER Professional Services methodology and value.
    • Define service value propositions, key messages, and competitive differentiators.
    • Participate in proof-of-concept activities to support deal closure.
    • Conduct discovery and scoping sessions to capture customer requirements.
    • Work with presales consultants to tailor services to unique customer needs.
  • Customer & Project Engagement:
    • Engage with clients throughout the sales cycle to support both services and software sales.
    • Provide technical guidance and ensure knowledge transfer to project managers and delivery teams.
    • Stay current on JAGGAER product enhancements and industry trends.
    • Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure smooth project handoff.
  • Account Growth & Partner Collaboration:
    • Position and sell value-add services to existing customers.
    • Meet with customers to understand evolving challenges and incorporate needs into proposals and SOWs.
    • Collaborate with JAGGAER Implementation Partners to deliver comprehensive delivery plans.
    • Scope, draft, and negotiate Partner sub-agreement SOWs.

Position Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Background in relevant system implementations, delivery, and professional services
  • Demonstrate an understanding of complex enterprise software solutions
  • Demonstrate an understanding of system-to-system integration methodology
  • Proficiency in the procurement industry and solutions preferred
  • Sound appreciation of the delivery phases of a systems implementation project
  • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills
  • Good project coordination skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to self-prioritize work
  • Self-motivated
  • Strong communication/messaging/influencing/negotiating skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%. A passport is required for international travel.
