The Financial Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, will be an integral part of the Finance team and will be responsible to shape, drive and deliver management reporting/dashboards, variance analysis and forecasting and planning activities to support decision making, maximize access to capital, safeguard assets, and minimize risks. 

 

 

Principal Responsibilities

  • As a finance business partner to multiple functions, you will foster trusted relationships with business teams to proactively identify essential needs, provide functional and regional teams with necessary data and incisive analysis, as well as collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to develop accurate assumptions and analytical inputs to support plan/forecast
  • Develop and prepare insightful and meaningful management reporting package with analysis for Senior Management including explanations of variances to forecast/plan, and prior periods and other ad hoc analysis as requested
  • Identify, understand, analyze and provide insight into key performance metrics
  • Drive accountability through monthly reporting and analysis relative to performance against targets
  • Establish and maintain forecasting processes across the global business including long-term planning, annual planning, and rolling forecast
  • Identify, quantify, and communicate risks and opportunities to plan
  • Assist with financial reporting, including but not limited to management reporting package, plan and forecast packages, board presentations, headcount and bookings
  • Collaborate with the team members to develop process improvements within the Finance Department, including but not limited to internal controls, report generation, process automation, improved use of technology, and documentation processes & procedures, etc.
  • Perform adhoc analysis and/or projects with respect to Finance as needed

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Finance/Accounting roles; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system and/or CPM system; knowledge of Adaptive Insights a big plus
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Driven self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven, and evolving environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external parties
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to take ownership and drive improvement in efficiency and effectiveness
  • SaaS related experience a plus, but not required
