WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
As the Vice President of AI Architecture & Platform Innovation, you will lead a world-class technical team responsible for pioneering next-generation AI capabilities across JAGGAER’s platform. You will guide the system engineering, AI research, and architecture team in developing scalable, reusable AI architectural patterns, and agentic platforms. Your leadership will extend beyond engineering to drive high-level technical and go-to-market engagement with strategic partners such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Snowflake.
This role blends deep hands-on technical excellence with strategic vision, organizational leadership, and executive presence. You will be the primary technical interface to senior customer executives and platform partners, ensuring AI innovations are tightly aligned with business value and enterprise integration requirements.
Strategic Leadership & AI Platform Innovation
• Lead the design, prototyping, and evolution of the core AI architecture (LLM platforms, multi-agent systems, vector, and orchestration capabilities).
• Define and evangelize JAGGAER’s AI platform strategy and reusable architectural patterns.
• Establish roadmap alignment with CDAO, Product, internal delivery and support stakeholders, and go-to-market leadership.
Team Leadership & Execution
• Manage and mentor a senior team including AI architects, full stack, and data scientists.
• Foster a high-performance culture of innovation, accountability, and experimentation.
• Scale early R&D into hardened, enterprise-grade platform components used across JAGGAER products enabling the broader team to deliver AI value.
Partner and Customer Engagement
• Serve as executive technical counterpart to Snowflake, AWS, Google Cloud, and other AI/ML partners.
• Lead technical briefings and co-innovation initiatives with strategic customers.
• Translate external trends and feedback into platform and architecture strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Interface with product and engineering teams to embed platform components into the product roadmap.
• Partner with CISO, Legal, Compliance, and Cloud Operations to ensure architecture meets AI governance, privacy, and security standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC2, ISO 42001).
• Collaborate and lead across global teams in a matrixed structure.
• 15+ years in software architecture, platform engineering, or applied AI systems, including 5+ years in executive or senior director roles.
• Proven experience delivering cloud-native, ML/AI-driven platforms in enterprise SaaS environments.
• Deep technical expertise in at least three of the following:
o LLM/SLM orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, LangChain)
o Multi-agent systems and RAG architectures
o Vector databases (Pinecone, embedding pipelines)
• MLOps pipelines (CI/CD, retraining, drift detection)
• Scalable API platforms and data engineering (Snowflake, OpenSearch)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock) and/or GCP
• Strong record of collaboration with external partners (AWS, GCP, Snowflake) and enterprise customers.
• Executive presence with strong communication skills, able to interface with C-level leaders
